Music

Music is an important piece of Lutheran worship. Shepherd of the Hills is blessed to have a 
gifted volunteer choir, as well as excellent musicians on staff. Gerald Willis is our Music Director. Gerry is an accomplished composer and musician and is the founder of the Royal Gorge Philharmonic in Cañon City.

 

In addition to directing the choir, Gerry also plays piano and organ for worship. Leslie Woodhull is our violist.  Leslie is a professional musician and the principal violinist with the Royal Gorge 
Philharmonic. Cheri Chiaro is a very gifted pianist and accompanies the choir when they sing.
